A homeless man suffered serious injuries last night as he tried to cross Stickney Point Road at US 41 and walked into the path of an oncoming westbound Honda car.Florida Highway Patrol troopers say 51-year old Charles Wetzel flew into the windshield of the car, and then was thrown onto the north shoulder of Stickney Point. He was airlifted from the scene to Blake Medical Center with serious injuries.
