Yet another local real estate agent and her husband have admitted to taking part in a property-flipping scheme involving investors Craig Adams and Rich Bobka. The case is becoming one of the largest flipping fraud schemes in Florida history. Linda Sloan is currently an agent with Signature Sotheby’s International Realty. She and husband Michael admitted last week they lied to lenders committed mail fraud. Though the Sloans have admitted to the same charges as other defendants who have pleaded guilty in the case thus far and who are expected to receive jail time, the Sloans’ attorney says the couple do not face mandatory prison terms. He credits that to their ongoing cooperation with the investigation.
