A possible murder in Lakewood Ranch today. Deputies are now saying it’s a homicide case as they investigate the death of 77-year-old Ina Gross. Her body found early this morning by her son in the garage of her home in the Riverwalk Ranch subdivision. There were no signs of forced entry into the home but investigators now say Gross appears to have been murdered. Gross’ late husband, Samuel, was honored just days ago for more than two decades of service as a medical professor and researcher at the University of Florida at Gainesville. No suspects so far.
