A free hurricane preparation seminar is coming up this Friday at Venice City Hall. It’ll include Venice police and fire chiefs, Sarasota County emergency management officials, the city engineer, the Red Cross, and a meteorologist, to give you the information needed to get ready for hurricane season. It’s Friday at 8 a.m., until noon.
