Some like it hot. Lots of tourists do. And they’re enjoying the unseasonably warm temperatures along Suncoast beaches. Wednesday’s high of 87 at Sarasota-Bradenton Airport was a huge 16 degrees above normal and set a record for the date. The previous high of 83 was recorded in 1989. Forecasters say temperatures will remain above normal for the next week or so and more records could be broken. A high pressure system to the north is bringing warm southeasterly air over the area.
