Hurricane Sandy has caused flights to be cancelled from both Sarasota and Tampa airport coming in or going out of cities north of Charlotte, North Carolina. Jet Blue flights to New York and Boston from Sarasota-Bradenton Airport were canceled today. U.S. Airways canceled its flights to and from Washington D.C. today as well. The hurricane is also expected to cancel more flights tomorrow.
