After a slow start Tuesday, competitors in the International Disabled World Sailing Championships finally whistled up a wind in Charlotte Harbor yesterday. There was so little wind Tuesday that some races had to be cancelled. Yesterday, though, sustained twelve-knot wind with gusts into the twenties allowed competitors to get in several key events. The Championships will help determine who sails in the 2012 Paralympic championships in London this summer.
