Two Englewood East brothers are facing multiple drug charges following their bust by Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies Monday. The suspects are 31-year-old Matthew Robert Werman, who lives on Teaberry Street and Mark Anthony Werman, whose home is on Hart Street. They were picked up near Mama’s restaurant on South McCall Road after a caller told deputies that the men appeared to be casing a Pill Doctor’s Office. Inside the car, deputies say they founded a loaded handgun and multiple narcotics, including Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Dilaudid and Valium. 350 dollars cash was confiscated. Matthew Werman was booked on 10 charges and remains jailed on 132 thousand dollars bond, his 3rd booking. Mark Werman is still locked up on 58 thousand 500 dollars bond, his 14th booking.
