Charlotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes detectives say a man walked into Charlotte Pharmacy Wednesday afternoon demanding drugs and said he was strapped with a bomb. Detectives say he handed the clerk a note requesting Oxycotin, Roxicodone, Xanax, and several other narcotics. After a verbal exchange with the clerk, the robber ran off withou any of the drugs. He was last seen running south on the U.S. 41 access road towards Harbor Blvd. He is described as a white male, 20-23 years of age, 5’-8” to 5’9” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with hood up, dark sunglasses, baggie blue jeans, black gloves, and black and white sneakers.
