To attract startup companies to Charlotte County, the Enterprise Charlotte Economic Council is sponsoring a contest to find the best innovative product or service. The winner will receive $7,000 in cash, $20,000 of “in-kind” services and two years of free rent in a Charlotte County building. The second- and third-place winners will receive smaller cash and services amounts, but also will enjoy the two-year free rent.
