Connie Ellis is our Thursday morning host educating listeners about Non Profit Organizations and Human Service Agencies throughout our community. Connie moved to Florida from Nashville, Tennessee and began working for the Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota County. Following her retirement, Connie joined the board of the Suncoast Humane Society and Helping Hand of Englewood. She is President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of Unifem (www.unifem-usnc.org). She is currently involved in various non profit projects with Hermitage Artist Retreat and the Sarasota Orchestra, South County Chapter. Connie serves as an MC for Women’s Expo of SWFL and is a “celebrity waiter” for the Annual Fundraiser for Beacon House.
