Will there be a Goodwill Super Store in North Trail? A vocal group of area residents don’t want it but the Sarasota City Commission has opened the way for one to be built. Commissioners giving the green light to plans for the 30-thousand-square-foot store, which would be located at North Tamiami Trail and Mecca Drive, just south of University Parkway. Residents saying increased traffic could be a problem. The store would also be near the Ringling Museum. They had filed an appeal to the planning board’s earlier approval of the location and Commissioners yesterday decided not to hear the appeal.
