A drug raid this morning by a Charlotte County Sheriff’s SWAT team has resulted in charges against a mother and daughter. Deputies raiding the house in the 700 block of Floral Lane this morning. They say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia at several places in the house — all of which, they say, were within reach of an 18-month-old child. The child’s mother, 22-year-old Amanda Saunders, and HER mother, 52-year-old Janet Saunders, both arrested on meth possession charges. Amanda Saunders also charged with child neglect.
