Charlotte County Sheriff’s detectives need your help.
Do you know anything about the theft of nearly two dozen new truck tires? They were stolen from a Cleveland business more than a week ago. Detectives said the theft happened on August 23. The owners of Boulevard Tire on US 17, east of Punta Gorda called the sheriff’s department to report somebody cut a hole in the rear metal bay door to get inside, then, police said, they took several Michelin and Goodyear truck tires. Detectives say that while neighbors said they heard noise from the business, they didn’t see anything. Investigators said the incident happened around 1 a.m. Know anything?
