A 56-year-old Port Charlotte man died this morning when a car turned into his path o County Road 769 in DeSoto County. NBC2 reports the Florida Highway Patrol reports a 23-year old woman made a left turn onto County Road, and the motorcyclist was thrown from his ride when the two collided. Authorities say the woman was cited for making an improper turn in front of approaching traffic.
