The State’s Attorney’s office says it will not file charges against a Sarasota County bounty hunter who fired at a fleeing man who had a woman and her three children in his vehicle. We reported last week that bounty hunter Nathan Rockwell fired at the tires of a vehicle driven by Kyle Courtwright at 56th and Blanche Place. Courtright was wanted for failing to appear at a court date. He fled and is still at large today. Now comes word that Courtwright’s girlfriend and her three young children were also in the vehicle. Investigators say there will be no charges against Rockwell. The search for Courtwright goes on.
