Here’s a strange adventure involving a man who allegedly stole some DVDs from a Punta Gorda Walmart. Store security says 34-year-old Eric Seifferlein is the bearded robber who stole the DVDs and ran off. They say he’s the same guy who later returned to the store’s parking lot and slammed his car into a woman’s parked vehicle. They say Seifferlein then went to a nearby gas station, shaved off the beard in hopes no one would recognize him, and returned to the parking lot. He was arrested on the spot by deputies who were responding to a call about him for the second time.
