A beach water advisory has been issued for Turtle Beach. Sarasota County officials say testing results from beach water samples taken on Wednesday showed an elevated level of enterococci bacteria. The Health Department will do follow-up testing today, with the results expected tomorrow afternoon. Until then, signs are posted advising beach-goers not to swim in the Turtle Beach area.
