A man who was originally an arson suspect has now been charged with attempted murder in Venice. Investigators say thirty-five-year-old Jason Shahan of Fort Meyers tried to set fire to his grandmother’s Venice home while she and another person were inside. Shahan is now being charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder.
