A convicted felon who’s the son of a Manasota Key condo manager has been arrested for pawning jewelry stolen from a resident. Charlotte County deputies check an online database of pawn transactions on a daily basis and when they received a complaint from the victim, they were able to track fifty-five jewelry pawns by him since March. Twenty-six-year-old Christopher Straub of Englewood now charged with stealing and pawning 27-thousand dollars worth of stolen jewelry.
