A new study conducted by AAA shows a majority of residents would wait until a category three hurricane to evacuate. The same study also shows that one in six residents would ignore all hurricane evacuation warnings. Mark Jenkins with AAA says those who stay would want to protect their home. Jenkins says that no matter if you evacuate or stay, you should have an hurricane preparedness kit ready at all times.
