Sarasota County deputies arrested a Venice man on 15 counts of possession of Child Pornography.
Shawn Daniels is 23 years old and is now in jail on a 37 thousand 500 dollars bond — 25 hundred dollars for each count of child pornography that he faces. Special Victims Unit detectives said Daniels downloaded child pornography to his computer between February and July of this year. During the execution of a search warrant at his home on August 3rd, they seized his computer and found more than a dozen images depicting children between the approximate ages of seven and 14 years old involved in sexual conduct.
