A local Port Charlotte County man has been arrested in connection with the Jan. 6th Capital riots. Adam Avery Honeycutt owns Bundy’s Bail Bonds at 4549 Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda.
He was taken into custody Thursday by the FBI in Jacksonville.
Honeycutt is facing two federal charges of in connection with the Capitol grounds riot.
The criminal complaint states the FBI National Threat Operations Center on Jan. 7 received two confidential tips identifying Honeycutt from his Facebook account in which he used the name “Bundy.”
Honeycutt has four arrests in Charlotte County dating back to 2000.
