Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County COVID-19 Vaccine Update: Jan. 25, 2021
The Twin Lakes Park Drive Thru-site last week was a success. Over 2,700 people were vaccinated. To date, the local office of the State of Florida Department of Health (DOH) has vaccinated over 31,000 members of the community.
A first dose clinic for front line health care workers is being held today at DOH.
Tomorrow at DOH will be a first dose clinic for front line healthcare workers and citizens 65 years of age and older.
Notifications to schedule second doses will go out today to individuals who received their first vaccine Dec. 29- 31, 2020, from the Department of Health in Sarasota County.
Other vaccination clinic sites are being explored.
