Outgoing President Donald J. Trump arrived to his home at Mara Lago this Wednesday spending his final minutes as President of the United States in his Florida residence. Trump opted to skip his successor’s inauguration. Trump was the first president in more than 150 years to skip his successor’s inauguration.

Trump was greeted by a swarm of well wishers as he returned to the Sunshine State.

Trump also suggested he would seek to remain in political life.

“We will be back in some form,” Trump told supporters at an early farewell ceremony at Joint Base Andrews that featured a 21-gun salute and a military band playing “Hail to the Chief.”

“Have a good life,” he added. “We will see you soon.”
