Police in North Port are investigating after a husband and wife were found dead over the weekend.

Around 1am Saturday, police were called to a home in the 5000 block of Lady Slipper Avenue for a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found the couple dead. Police say their initial investigation found the domestic argument led to a murder-suicide.

The names of those involved were not released.
