A sixth-grade English teacher at Punta Gorda Middle School remains on paid administrative leave. WFTX-TV reports Susan Lucarini allegedly had a physical altercation with a student last week. A district spokesman says interviews continue with plenty of witnesses. Lucarini has worked in the district for several years. The investigation may last two weeks.
