Students throughout Southwest Florida joined students around the country by walking out of school at noon Wednesday. Students at area schools walked out of classes in support of both the survivors and victims of last week’s shooting in Parkland. One student told NBC-2 they walked out to get the school district’s attention- to create a conversation about what exactly students are thinking about and going through.
