A new phone application is designed to help residents send anonymous tips in the event of a crime or suspicious activity. The application, called P3 is designed by Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. The organization is urging residents, as well as students to download the application to help share news that may be helpful in situations where police may not immediately be aware. People can stay anonymous while sending the information through the free application. It offers the ability to use screen captures as a way of gathering information, such as what the Parkland shooter had posted. Most cases that Crime Stoppers is involved in has a cash reward involved.
