After 20 years, the Venice Farmers Market will no longer be downtown…at least temporarily. The market is just one of four of the city’s biggest events that will be relocated while roads and sidewalks downtown are torn up and replaced. The events are just moving behind City Hall, a few blocks away. The worry, though, is that since it’s not in front of businesses on Venice Avenue, many people simply won’t be able to find it. Construction is set to begin in April and end sometime around November. After that, events will move back to their original locations.
