With of the worst flu seasons in recent memory starting to hit its peak, Sarasota County Schools are offering free flu vaccines for students this week. According to a press release from Sarasota County Schools, the free flu clinics will take place today and tomorrow after school from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. This afternoon, vaccinations will be available at Booker Middle School, Cranberry Elementary, and Sky Academy in Venice. Tomorrow, at Tuttle Elementary, Laurel Nokomis School, and North Port High School. Parents who wish to have their students vaccinated must fill out the Flu Consent Form on the Sarasota Schools Website.
