Data released by the Florida Department of Education show high school graduation rates for Manatee County at over 80 percent, off slightly from its 10-year high. The grad rate was at 81.1 percent for the 2016-17 school year, 2.4 percent under 2015-2016, which was the highest rate on record. Since the school year beginning in 2010, Manatee County’s rate has jumped over 16 percent.
