Yesterday, Allegiant Air began new nonstop service between Punta Gorda and Omaha, Nebraska. The new seasonal flights will operate twice weekly between Eppley Airfield (OMA) and Punta Gorda Airport (PGD). Those flights will run every Sunday and Thursday from now through April 8th. Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial, said Thursday that “The response we’ve received from the Omaha community has been overwhelmingly positive” about the route thus far.
