A tenant at a home in Manatee County may have learned a valuable lesson earlier this week when it comes to fake friends on the internet. According to the Manatee Sheriff’s Office, a 10th Avenue W home in Bradenton was broken into and the burglar asked to speak “to the man of the house”. It was then the woman left the house without incident and came to a strange realization that she recognized the burglar…as one of her social media friends. The armed man is identified as Andrew Perry and he was arrested on charges of armed burglary and resisting arrest without violence. Perry’s bond is $21,000.
