An accident that occurred in Fort Myers has a familiar ring to it…that’s because a cell phone was involved. Florida Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Kenneth Rogers Jr. crossed the centerline of an unknown road around 5am Monday and hit a Lee County school bus. Rogers told police that he dropped his mobile phone and attempted to pick it up when he lost control of his phone. No word was given if any occupants on the bus were injured. Rogers had serious injuries and was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road, not wearing a seat belt and not having insurance.
