The Sarasota School Board has decided to pay for an attorney that will help Superintendent Todd Bowden fight a sexual harassment charge. The board voted Tuesday 4-1 to pay for the attorney, as well as hiring an investigator to dig into the allegations. The allegations became public when Bowden was trying to get the job in 2016 and he has since denied the charges. The formal charges are from an unnamed district employee.
