An area man accused of killing his mother in 2012 has been found in Israel and will be brought back to Florida. The Lakewood Ranch murder happened on Jan. 9, 2012. Police found 78-year-old Ina Gross was found stabbed inside her garage and a warrant was issued for her son, Thomas Gross. He has been living in Israel and now will be flown back to Manatee County to face trial. Thomas Gross’ sister believes money was at the center of the murder and that Thomas is guilty.
