Nokomis Avenue in Venice will be closed on Monday at the intersection with Milan Avenue in Venice. AJAX Building Corporation will be installing a conduit across the roadway to serve the new William H. Jervey Jr. Venice Public Library project. Traffic detours will be in place, but the city is reminding residents to adjust routes accordingly and use caution in this area. Also, A contractor will be making repairs to damaged pavers near the Centennial Park kiosk off West Venice Avenue. The public is advised to use caution in the area. Barricades will be in place.
