One million dollars in cash has been found thanks to drug bust by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. 53-year-old Landrus Powell, 53 was arrested at his apartment. The sheriff’s office starting investigating after a mother of two children overdosed, the Lee County sheriff said in a press conference. Powell tried to buy drugs from undercover officers. Police found the cash, guns and several drugs, including cocaine, heroin, morphine and OxyContin in the apartment. Powell has been charged with multiple drug counts.
