Venice residents are trading one problem for another when it comes to coyotes that have been showing up in some neighborhoods. The concern is that some of the coyotes may have mange, a parasitic disease. Residents are concerned that domestic animals may get the contagious disease if the coyotes make their way near homes and pets. Officials from the Venice Wildlife Center say they want to catch them so they can be treated.
