An electrical worker was seriously injured when he was burned when a live electrical line he was working on came into contact with a car on Tuesday afternoon. EMS crews were called to Lorraine Road and Fruitville Road yesterday afternoon. Officials say the unidentified 23-year old man was working on a boom lift when the line contacted a vehicle, and started a fire while he was on board the lift. A spokesperson for Florida Power & Light said the man did not work for them, and they are unsure as to who his employer was or why he was working on the line.
