Venice residents are about to see quite a change in the area as construction will alter nearly 70 percent of road within the city limits. The areas are affected stretch from downtown to residential areas and will be paid for through a voter-approved bond to the tune of $18 million. The project will virtually change the entire look as new sidewalks, asphalt, curbing and updated ADA compliance will all be part of the update.
