A panther that is endangered in Florida was hit and killed by a vehicle in the recent past. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission found the panther’s remains on Saturday in Highlands County. The three-year-old panther was the 23rd to die in Florida in 2017. 18 of the deaths have been vehicle-related.
