Charlotte Co. Sheriff Bill Prummell is asking for the public’s help, looking for the donation -even temporary- of a travel trailer.

In a release from his office yesterday, Prummell said there is a team from the Charlotte Co Sheriff’s Office set to head down to Monroe County to help in recovery efforts.

But, with the situation there, the crew has no place to stay. The Sheriff is getting the word out to anyone who may have a travel trailer that sleeps as many as 10 people. He said the crew is not looking for anything fancy, just a place to rest between shifts.

Any dealers or individuals who can help are asked to call the sheriff’s office.
