A boil water notice is now in effect for Manasota Key, after water service was restored to the barrier island yesterday. Lower than normal water pressure is to be expected from 6131 Manasota Key Road on south. Water crews are asking resident to be conservative in using water, and whatever is used for drinking or cooking needs to be boiled.
