More details are coming out about the suspect behind the murder of two men at the Zota Beach Resort in Longboat Key. Last Friday, police say 29-year old Darryl Hanna Jr.- a former employee- walked into the resort and shot and killed 59-year-old night manager Timothy Hurley and 51-year-old evening security guard Kevin Carter before taking off with around $900 in cash. According to a police report, Hanna routinely complained about money- that he was not working enough and that his hourly rate was too low. He’s being held at the Manatee County Jail without bond.
