Western Michigan University’s College of Aviation will highlight its programs being offered in Punta Gorda during the world’s largest aviation event, the Experimental Aircraft Association’s AirVenture this week in Wisconsin. The event attracts more than 500,000 people each year. Programs at the Punta Gorda airport and Florida SouthWestern State College include a flight science program and an online aviation management and operations program. Those aviation programs begin for the first time later this fall.
