A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon near Sarasota after pointing a gun at another motorist on Interstate 75. The Florida Highway Patrol picked up Christopher Allen Banach after he waved a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver at another driver just north of the State Road 681 exit. Banach faces multiple charges.

–Possession of cannabis with intent to sell
–Paraphernalia (5 counts)
–Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
