A Venice attorney who is accused of embezzling over $700 thousand from client accounts had his bond reduced by a Sarasota County Judge, Adam Miller’s original bond in the case was set at $1.7 million and is now reduced to just over $407 thousand by Circuit Judge Charles Roberts after a hearing Monday. Miller faces charges of exploitation of the elderly and three counts of scheme to defraud. Miller’s attorney said that he can’t post bond because his assets have been frozen by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
