A man fell from a tree in Venice Saturday and was taken to a local hospital. He was Bayflited and after the fall of ten feet near Church Drive and Englewood Road. His condition is unknown. Not to be outdone, another man jumped from the second story of a building in Bradenton Friday after burglarizing a number of apartments. It happened Friday at the Bayshore on the Lakes apartments. A woman who arrived home found the suspect, Jacob Millard in her place. He ran past her and jumped from the second floor to the ground. Millard sprinted across the street into another apartment. That was a bad idea. The occupants took control of Millard and held him until the cops showed up. He has been charged with two counts of burglary and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
